Anyone for 'Wishmaster 5'?
Now I know the tagline would have to be changed since 'Hellraiser' 3 had the same tagline. But the film would center around the djinn finally fullfilling the prophecy, and unleashing his bretheren upon the earth. Thus creating hell on earth. The only ones who would be able to stop him are two special children, teenagers born from a woman and a man of great power and spirit. Thus they'd have special abilities to combat the djinns. Since both kids were orphans though, the djinns would try and tempt them with wishes like a real family, money, wealth, power, things they've never had before in life.and Both kids would have to make the ultimate decision between doing whats right, and doings whats right for them personally. That would be my idea for a 5th 'Wishmaster' movie. But the most important cog of all, bring back this guy...

I'd make sure Andrew Divoff was playing the djinn in my movie. Not that chump from parts 3 and 4.

I'd agree with you here if they hadn't done 'Wishmaster 4'. But I think since they have done it, it's done irrepairable damage to the series that can't be undone. But then again, they're doing a 'Mangler 3' after the dreadful 'Mangler 2', so never say never in this biz. They just need to find some people with that *Anything can be salvaged* attitude.

'Wishmaster 3' was kind of good in a guilty pleasure kind of way. But yeah I wouldn't mind a wishmaster 5 with Divoff back. Or maybe they could call it 'Wishmaster 4' and pretend the other part 4 never happened. I doubt that many people saw it anyways.

That could work seeing as how part 4 was a direct to video release which I'm sure many people passed on renting.

Yea but what about those of us who gave it a chance only to wind up spending 2 hours washing our eyes out afterwards.

Never. This series is beyond saving. After part 4, this series has had it's final coffin nail nailed in a long time ago. and as stated in a few interviews after part 2 was completed, Andrew Divoff will never come back.

Yep. I watched part 4...ALL THE WAY THROUGH. Afterwards, I said to myself, thats all she wrote for the 'Wishmaster' series. #5bullwhip#

From what I understand the genie in 3 and 4 was a totally different djinn from the djinn Divoff played in parts 1-2. So as long as they bring him back, the series can be salvaged I think.
