I caught 'SUSPIRIA' on IFC a few weeks ago, and I have to say for a film that is praised to the high heavens by most horror fans, it was very average to me. It revolves around supernatural/occultish going ons at a dance school. Not to say that I didn't like it, I did, but I just think this movie is undeserving of the endless praise it gets as opposed to a movie like 'Halloween' which the first time I saw it, gave me chills in certain scenes. Discuss...Agree/Disagree?

'Suspiria' is the kind of movie you have to stay with all the way through to appreciate how good it is. It's not the kind of movie that you can just pay attention when you need or want to. I've seen it a dozen or so times. It's a good horror/art film. Not that scary to me personally, but defnitely great horror and really captures the spirit of the genre.

Alot of people tell me that 'Suspiria' gets old after the third or fourth viewing and you find your opinion of the film (if it was a high one after your first viewing) declining. Personally,I've only seen it once, and I thought it was good because it was a really dark and evil movie. It captured the spirit of what witchcraft related horror films are all about.

I thought "Suspiria" was a creepy ass flick. One of Argentos scariest.I don't think it's overrated in the least.

Suspiria is scary because it's so weird and out there. The imagery, colors, and of course that theme song. Definitely Dario Argento's best horror movie to date.

I'm a big fan of "Suspiria" how can anyone not be? It has everything a horror movie lover wants, a very sinister vibe, blood, scares, and a terrifying overall story. It's one movie I wouldn't mind seeing remade or updated.

Far FAR from overrated. 'Suspiria' doesn't get enough credit is what I think. You rarely hear it come up in a conversation about best old horror film unless it's a conversation among real hardcore horror movie buffs or those who are fans of Argento's work.

"SUSPIRIA" is a good horror movie and worthy of the credit it constantly recieves. It's not overrated or underrated. I believe the amount of horror fans that like it are a suitable amount.

Suspiria was up for a remake but my friend told me recently he read that the remake had been canned. I am very thankful for that. #thumb3#
