So what gives, why hasn't Alex Aja made this film yet? Wasn't "High Tension" considered a success?

Well 'High Tension' was so well received that Alex was chosen for alot of american horror films. Er go, I'm sure he had 'High Tension 2' on the menu, but has been sidetracked by all of the other offers. I'm sure it'll get done eventually though.

I would see "High Tension 2" but is it something that I am waiting with baited breath to see done right now? Nah not really.

I think part 1 wrapped up pretty nicely. Not sure how well a sequel would go over.

The skitzo bitch is locked up, unless she escapes....a sequel is virtually impossible!

I've wanted a sequel for 2 years now, glad to read someone else agrees with me! #party0012#

I wouldn't mind a sequel, but maybe with different people.

I wouldn't be against a sequel but I'm not pushing for one either.

I think Alex will do one as soon as his schedule gets a bit less crowded. It might be better to revisit his first american released film 4 or 5 years from now instead.

But no one will remember 'High Tension' 4 or 5 years from how, hence the dilemma of waiting.
