He made a ton of money for doing part one so even with a bad story he probably would return just for the check.

You guys wanted a sequel? Here's your frikkin sequel! blogs.usatoday.com/ondeadline/2009/04/snakes-on-a-plane-would-you-believe-pythons.htmlHow often do you get to write about pythons twice in one day?
Our second story involves four baby pythons that got loose in the cargo hold of a Qantas flight from Alice Springs to Melbourne, Australia. Two flights had to be canceled Tuesday while workers searched in vain for the 6-inch-long snakes, The Age newspaper says.
They were among 12 Stimson's Pythons being transported in a bag inside a foam box with air holes. Not clear exactly how they escaped.
The airline decided to fumigate the Boeing 737, which returned to service yesterday. The snakes' carcasses haven't been found.
"They're not endangered, so a decision was made to fumigate," Qantas spokesman David Epstein told the BBC. "If these snakes turn up, they will be very much dead snakes."
When alive, these non-venomous reptiles — which can grow to 3 to 5 feet long — apparently are good company.

Why not a different animal? Tarantulas on a Plane? Maybe not so much.

Tarantulas are too small and they move too slow. Brown Recluse spiders and Black Widows are the toughest and deadliest spiders to humans. So Brown Recluse or Black Widow On A Plane would be the best options.

Hey Samuel L. Jackson actually spoke about this recently... www.imdb.com/name/nm0000168/news#ni0850674Samuel L. Jackson has a novel way of entertaining himself on long-haul flights - he watches his own movies.
The Pulp Fiction star loves to catch up on films when he is travelling by plane - and always tries to find blockbusters in which he has a leading role.
And he has a surprise favourite for his in-flight viewing - critically-panned 2006 movie Snakes On A Plane.
He says, "If there's nothing else on that I'm interested in, I know my movies will interest me. I watched Snakes On A Plane. I love that movie. Great title, you know. The execution of it was pretty good. People are always asking me about a sequel but I don't know what that would be."
Interesting............?

Wow, it actually sounds like if a good idea comes across his desk, a sequel to "SOAP" could actually happen. Amazing!

SoaP2 would be very possible, I just don't know what the back story would be without being repetitive.

Good backstory would be making the snakes mutants maybe? Or maybe having the snakes be super-poisonous this time. Like one bite can kill in 20 minutes or less.
