Is there an alternate version of this movie different from the one they always show on television? I've been told by like alot of people that there is but is it a rumor or an actual fact?

Well there's an edited version that airs on AMC and SCI-FI. If that's what you're talking about.

There's an alternate version of 'Halloween 2' where the guy who was crushing on Laurie at the hospital is taken away in an ambulance with her at the end. It's said that she had Jamie with that same guy but it's never factually revealed. But since they seemed to be close at the end when they were being taken away in the ambluance many people consider him to be Jamie's father.

Yeah there's a version where Jimmy and Laurie ride away in the EMT vehicle together suggesting that they lived happily ever after while Michael burned to a crisp in the hospital.

The scene in the hospital that has Laurie dreaming about her mom and blood dripping on the floor in between shots is missing from a few copies of "halloween 2". But they show the version containing that scene on television all the time.

The dripping blood scenes cut into Lauries flashback are from that nurse that Michael drains of her blood and leaves her on the gourney. The one Jimmy finds dead and then slips and falls unconscious.

There's this really stupid version of "Halloween 2" where they cut out the scene where doctor Mixture is found drained of her blood and Jimmy slips on it. When Dr. Loomis ignites the gas in the room to explode in this version the explosion happens, and then they cut to Jimmy in the room upon which he slips and hits the floor from the impact of the explosion. They rarely show that version on tv though, probably because of the complaints they get about how stupid it is.

Ridiculous to say the least. What stations will go through to edit movies. #icon_tever#

I think every 'Halloween' movie has an alternate floating around out there.

"Halloween 2" has many alternates but the problem is they all suck except for the one Encore Mystery shows sometimes. That one has all the deaths in full, and doesn't let Jimmy live at the end to kill the continuity of the series.
