This is one of the best horror films the 80's had to offer. I own it on dvd because the first time I saw it, it had a major effect on me. It's about these miners who discover a goo-like substance that erupts from the earth during one of their mining operations. They decide to market it because it tastes so good. But when the american public starts feasting on the tasty treat, it begins to devour their minds and turn them into crazed zombies. I like to think of it as when yogurt goes psycho. #icon_lol1#

Monster movies at their finest, that's what "The Stuff" was. I wish they made them like this still. A simple plot, a nasty villain, and alot of gore. And a pretty self-explanatory title.

I haven't seen this movie i a long time. It's a very underrated SCI-FI/Horror film.

I remember when I was watching this movie the yogurt reminded me of glue. I always thought it was glue they were using in the movie in place of actual yogurt. Probably for production cost reasons. |
