When it was first announced that there'd be a sequel to the zombie pic "Deadgirl", moving into production. I was one of the ones who wasn't very excited about those prospects at all. Well now, "Deadgirl 2" has run into a little bit of trouble. But that hasn't stopped Trent Haaga, who was tapped to pen the script for the sequel, from putting his treatment online for all to see! So if you click Here, you can read it! Whether or not this movie ever happens remains a mystery to this point. But personally, I would prefer if it didn't. The first one made me feel dirty just by watching it. It was that pointless, offensive, and over the top. Anyways, about the script, Haaga blogs..."What I ended up writing could maybe be described as ' 'Precious' meets 'The Pit' with a zombie attack dog. My idea for the sequel was to try and tell a story from the point of view of a female outcast and what would happen if she found the DEADGIRL this time ... instead of using the DEADGIRL for the impetus of her sexual fantasies, what if she used the DEADGIRL for her revenge fantasies instead?" Interesting. It's too bad "this" idea, was not used for the first movie. It would've atleast have given it a bigger sense of originality, instead of that overarching sense of hyper-perverseness.
