According to the Encyclopædia Britannica, a djinn (jinni or genie) is “in Arabic mythology, a supernatural spirit below the level of angels and devils. Ghul (treacherous spirits of changing shape), ifrit (diabolic, evil spirits), and sila (treacherous spirits of invariable form), constitute classes of djinn. They delight in punishing humans for any harm done them, intentionally or unintentionally, and are said to be responsible for many diseases and all kinds of accidents; however, those human beings knowing the proper magical procedure can exploit the djinn to their advantage.”
www.forteantimes.com/articles/147_djinn.shtmlThe article doesn't say djinns are real but it does state that they are a central part of arabic mythology.

Yes most of that sounds about right. however the djinn are said to of existed since the time of adam and eve and were forced to bow down to them, however as the djinn numbers grew they gained power and god lost control they rebelled, and apparently hassled villagers to change their faiths! a djinn is said to be a fire element demon, also anything they touch they can set ablaze! djinn are capable of posessing people. I heard from a friend of mine who claims one of his penpals says that he is harrassed by djinn every night! most djinn are evil however there have been cases of djinn gone good! djinn can also be summoned by the use of oui-ja boards as i found out! however unless you are extremely experienced and know you'r demons the results can be fatal! ever since i summoned a djinn i have had many dreams of djinn, visions, prophecys and continueslly draw djinn. resulting in my walls covered in djinn drawings! you can't see my wall!!! in my dreams they are usually in groups of 2 to 7 most of them are male and are quite sexual! with 'chuckyssonglens' and my explanation that about explains a djinn! Hail satan

That's interesting considering all of the goody good good shit we've been fed by the media about djinns or genies like our whole lives. They were more so evil mischievous beings, kind of like the legendary gremlins who to this day some people still blame for plane accidents.
