Eh we're already passed 'Carrie' aren't we? Do we really need to bring her back? I think not.

The problem with making a third "Carrie" is there's nothing new to do with her. They need a fresh spin or a new twist to make the movie interesting. Even though I'm sure alot of people here would be happy with just simply Carrie wasting people with her telekenesis. I wouldn't be happy with that though, because "Carrie" as a series is a bit more deeper than just blood, carnage, and chaos.

I agree with one of the earleir posters in this thread. Carrie was a tragic story of a girl pushed too far. Let's not turn her into a supervillain like Michael Myers or anything and make 'Carrie 3'.

I wouldn't be interested in another "Carrie" movie with like THE Carrie in it. But bringing back Rachel would be a cool idea.

I agree that making Carrie or any other tortured girl with abilities like her into some sort of killer would really ruin any kind of sympathy you had for her originally. Stephen King created a great character in Carrie, one that was not a vicious killer but a victim of circumstance who only hurt people when she'd been pushed to the limit. She wasn't a bad person and I think another movie showing someone like her killing people would take away from that.

Exactly, the only way it would work is if one of the kids she killed had a surviving child like if one of the guys Carrie killed on prom night had a girlfriend who was pregnant but didn't find out until after the prom incident, upon which Carrie came back to claim that kid when he or she grew up.

That would just make Carrie a vendictive bitch...and no one wants that.

No one misses Carrie. Her story's been told let her rest in peace. Rachel ah well I never really got the ending of Carrie 2 so I am not exactly sure if bringing her back would be logical.
