Anyone with me when I say a third "carrie" movie would be a good idea? Carrie is a horror film character that isn't stale or tired like some of the others, and her backstory provides for some interesting directions to go in. Sure she's dead, but that never stopped Freddy, Michael, and Jason.

No you see...if you make Carrie into a horror icon of epic, villanous proportions, then she loses her sympathy from people who've seen "Carrie". Carrie was a victim in the original, making a third movie filled with scenes where she telekenetically kills people in unique fashion would make her into a monster.

Can't happen, Carrie is dead remember? Yeah but you know at the end of both 'Carrie' movies it's implied that Carrie and Rachel somehow came back from the dead. So bringing one of them back for a third film wouldn't be too far outside the realm of possibility.

'Carrie' killed everyone at the prom and in the sequel Rachel killed everyone at the party. So why on earth would either of them need to return from the grave in a third 'Carrie' film?

Elm Street NightmareGood point. All of their enemies are dead so the fact that both of them are now resting in peace is the perfect end all to everything.

'Carrie 3' would be kind of stupid don't ya think? Carrie rises from the grave to seek revenge..then she realizes everyone's already dead, upon which she returns to her resting place and pulls the dirt back over her coffin. #icon_lol1#

I wouldn't be interested in a third "Carrie" movie. Rachel was cooler than Carrie anyway.

I'd see a third "Carrie". A pissed off Carrie back from the grave with probably more potent telekenetic abilities would be fun to watch on screen.
