I also heard that the music is not the original soundtrack. I loved the beginning of the movie. Most people don't know this but it takes cutting through alot of red tape to get a soundtrack for a film. There's all this legal stuff that has to be done and if it's not done at all or properly sometimes soundtracks get taken off a film via threat of a lawsuit or some sort of legal action.

Okay I finally saw this movie on Monsters HD over the weekend. I liked it for the most part but the ending just leaves too many unanswered questions. I would've preferred a tighter resolution to all of this.

I have the DVD and it's not a bad movie. However, doesn't it seem as though the killings might be edited ? The music on the dvd is awful, which is it's only real flaw. Also the ending of "happy birthday to me" always threw me for a loop because how the hell is the killer going to stand there and just yammer on all day allowing Virginia time to cut her throat? That's why I always hate it when the killer gloats or feels it necessary to inform the remaining person of what's happeniing because you know what's coming next.

Oh the 80's horror films were all about the killer "explaining" their motives. That sort of thing was usually their undoing when it's all said and done.

I guess the writer couldn't come up with any better way to dispose of his killer and rescue his lead female.
